Me and my wife Pam have ridden North-East and West now it's time for the South.

So me thinks Greece in September. I'm looking to catch the ferry from Venice to Igoumenits because every time I've attempted to drive/ride to Greece I've always got delayed in some country or another (my fault I know) just too much to see and too little time to do it.

The advice I'm looking for is about good hotels/camp-sites (camping is an emergency thing on this trip). Me and Pam like mountain scenery so if you know fabulous mountain passes please let me know. The trip I'm planning will be on mainland Greece only as we've done many of the Islands in the past on package trips.

Tomorrow I will find out if my holiday leave will extend for the hole of September, because I'm hoping to have at least 17 days in Greece.

I look forward to your advice and replies.

Get in touch with our leader Bedouin. You will not be disappointed.

PS - have you got some miles on that bird now.

My first natural instinct is to breathe. My second is to evade tax's.

Hi Mat

I might have been a bit previous with this posting, I hope to find out tomorrow if I can get the time off work to do this trip. Keep ya fingers crossed.

Mileage on my T-Bird? Well it must be just over 12,000 mls now. But my other steed that's a whopping 120,000 and odd miles on the clock.

Get a hold of Bedouin, I made the trip from Venice to Igomenitsa to Athens in 2008 (actually the other way around) awesome!
